Rob MacDougall's Do what you Love Manifesto: Lessons learned from sport, art and life

I have spent most of my adult life doing what I love to do; painting athletes doing what they love to do. I just turned the half century mark and having looked back at the first 50 and forward to the next 50 I have come to the conclusion that doing what you love to do is not a bad approach to life. It’s what sport and art have revealed to me.

When you do what you love to do energy guides you.

When you do what you love to do passion is your companion.

When you do what you love to do no day is wasted.

When you do what you love to do work is play.

When you do what you love to do work is its own reward.

When you do what you love to do waking up is easy.

When you do what you love to do creativity flows.

When you do what you love to do you measure success differently.

When you do what you love to do you teach your own children not to settle in life.

When you do what you love to do you give yourself a chance at greatness!
